🥩 Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs (700 g) sirloin steak (or ribeye, tenderloin, strip steak) – cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for flavor)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the steak
- Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels (this helps them sear better).
- Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Sear the steak
- Heat a large skillet (cast iron works best) over medium-high heat.
- Add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
- Once hot, add steak cubes in a single layer (don’t overcrowd — cook in batches if needed).
- Sear for 2 minutes per side until browned but still juicy inside. Remove and set aside.
- Make garlic butter sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
- Add remaining 2 tbsp butter.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Combine & finish
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce for 1–2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve
- Enjoy hot with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, rice, or even toothpicks as an appetizer.
