Garlic Butter Steak Bites

🥩 Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs (700 g) sirloin steak (or ribeye, tenderloin, strip steak) – cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for flavor)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the steak
    • Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels (this helps them sear better).
    • Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Sear the steak
    • Heat a large skillet (cast iron works best) over medium-high heat.
    • Add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
    • Once hot, add steak cubes in a single layer (don’t overcrowd — cook in batches if needed).
    • Sear for 2 minutes per side until browned but still juicy inside. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make garlic butter sauce
    • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
    • Add remaining 2 tbsp butter.
    • Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Combine & finish
    • Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce for 1–2 minutes.
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  5. Serve
    • Enjoy hot with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, rice, or even toothpicks as an appetizer.
